ACADEMIC PUBLICATIONS

Dr. Rodriguez de Conte currently serves as the weekly featured arts columnist at the Tallahassee Democrat. She has been published in peer reviewed journals, textbooks and essay collections. Dr. Rodriguez de Conte writes about race and identity through performance and aims to highlight the concealed stories from theatre voices from the fringe. Her research uses ethnographic methodology to analyze the contributions made to queer and disability theatre. Past research has focused on The Mickee Faust Academy for the Really Dramatic Arts, a Tallahassee based radical community theatre company.
